Force Feedback

With peak values of about 4 – 4.5 Newton meters, the T300 is a bit more powerful than Logitech's G29, for example, but ranks slightly below Fanatec's CSL Elite Wheelbase in comparison.

Realistic, accurate transmission of the different elements of each race directly to the user's hands makes this motor a must-have. Contrary to a simple brushed motor, the brushless motor technology built into the T300RS series racing wheels also allows for an extremely quiet racing experience.

The T300RS GT is an officially-licensed PlayStation and Gran Turismo product, and is compatible with PS4 and PC. Works with PS5 games (PS5 games compatibility has been tested and endorsed by Thrustmaster.

However, while the T300 RS GT seems superior to the G923 in terms of force feedback, smoothness, and overall realism, the G923 is apparently a lot more reliable, as the T300 RS GT, and Thrustmaster products in general, have been said to frequently break/malfunction.

On PC wheels are almost identical except T300 supports 1080 deg rotation and TX is only 900. Not that it matters much imo. Internals are identical afaik.

What's the Verdict? Aggregating the views from the conversation, one can reasonably argue that the Thrustmaster T300 is a worthy investment for a beginner in Sim Racing.

for the last many years i have been using Thrustmaster T300RS wheel and i was mostly satisfied with it but one of the problems i have with it is that it can be annoyingly loud when the fans kick in when the wheel thinks its getting hotter.

This is a great wheel and I am glad I spent a little bit more and got the t300 model. It is my first wheel and I'm amazed at how strong the force feedback is. I'm not sure how different it is from the lower or higher models but as a mid tier wheel it really does the job well and feels really well put together.
